MARGO ANSWERS VIEWERS QUESTIONS…
Male, 6’4″ and 270—well you could be a heck of a character actor!!! Actually, your type can work ALOT! Think of all of the big guys on television. If you can act you can definitely have a career.
Can’t wear white or strips on an audition–well think about it! What should be the main focus at an audition? YOU. Yes, you must stand out so anything distracting like strips or jewelry won’t work. The camera will attract to somethin other than your face or your character. Wearing white is hard for the camera to shoot. Wear simple, non-distracing, non-logo items and keep the focus on you!
And lastly, if you arew booking 1 in 100 auditions you n’t last very long in the business. You will get too discouraged and leave. If this is your ratio then you are going out for the wrong roles or the wrong castings. Do not go to a casting where you do not fit the description. It is not worth it and you will anger thecasting director. If they say 5’10 blonde, then you had better not be a 5’7″ brunette!!!
Keep ‘em coming and great to hear from all of you!

I just found this website a while ago when a good friend suggested it to me. I have been a regular reader ever since.
